SEC commissioner Hester Peirce says she is optimistic Clarity Act will pass
U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission commissioner Hester Peirce, who is nearing the end of her term, said she is optimistic the Clarity Act will pass. She said passage would clearly divide authority among regulators over the crypto spot market and give the industry, investors and authorities clearer standards. Peirce also said substantial rulemaking would follow any passage, while stressing the SEC would not stand idle even if the bill fails.
