KT Q1 operating profit falls 29.9 percent on cost burden, seeks rebound with AX

KT posted first-quarter consolidated revenue of 6.78 trillion won and operating profit of 482.7 billion won, down 1.0 percent and 29.9 percent from a year earlier. The profit fell due to base effects from one-off gains last year, though improved results at KT Estate and content affiliates eased the decline. KT also announced shareholder return plans for 2026 to 2028, including a minimum annual dividend of 2,400 won per share in 2026.

SOOP affiliate FreeBR changes name to TTL Communications
SOOP affiliate FreeBR said on Sunday it has changed its name to TTL Communications as part of a rebranding aimed at expanding beyond audio-focused operations. The company provides advertising production, distribution and marketing services based on its own recording studio. It said it has carried out more than 6,000 campaigns for more than 4,000 partners over about 20 years. TTL said it has reorganised its business into media, digital and offline divisions.
