Ryu Je-myeong says industry-academia-research cooperation essential to boost physical AI competitiveness

Ryu Je-myeong (류제명), second vice minister of South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT, attended the Physical AI Tech Day event in Seoul on Tuesday and stressed the importance of cooperation among industry, academia and research institutions. The event, themed \"Intelligence into Action,\" brings together experts to share trends and development directions in physical AI. Ryu also toured exhibits, including AI semiconductors, factory optimisation and collaborative robots and humanoids.

MSIT to open Physical AI Tech Week on Oct. 13

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said it will hold Physical AI Tech Week at COEX in Seoul on Oct. 13-14. The event is aimed at sharing technology and industry trends in physical AI and expanding cooperation among the government, companies and research institutes. More than 500 people are expected to attend, including about 400 companies and institutions in the Physical AI Alliance. The programme includes alliance and tech days, exhibitions and demonstrations.
