Choi Joo-sun of Samsung SDI says 2026 must be year of rebound
Samsung SDI CEO Choi Joo-sun on Jan. 2 released a 2026 New Year message outlining a “3S” strategy of selectivity, speed and survival. He said the company must make 2026 the first year of a rebound and urged employees to move forward with no room to retreat. Choi said the answer ultimately lies in technology and called for a unified direction. He also cited “pessimistic optimism” and thanked employees for last year’s efforts.
