XRP Ledger Ethereum sidechain signals major upgrade; what changes
XRP Ledger’s Ethereum-compatible sidechain is preparing an upgrade focused on stronger security and operational stability. Peersyst said it plans to release a testnet proposal for XRPL EVM v11 as early as this week, with mainnet deployment to follow. The upgrade targets economic security, safer cross-chain connectivity, improved validator management and broader stack hardening. Changes include restricting new validator entry to designated authorities while allowing existing validators to exit voluntarily.
