Woori Bank CEO Jung Jin-wan vows to narrow gap with rival banks this year
Woori Bank CEO Jung Jin-wan said the lender will quickly narrow the gap with rival banks this year and lead a “second leap.” Woori Bank said it held its 2026 management strategy meeting in Incheon with about 900 executives and managers attending. Participants shared four strategic directions under the 2026 management goal, including expanding customers and strengthening earnings. Jung also called for changes in sales methods, tighter controls and stronger information security.
