Comtrue Technology to unveil new Sherlock Holmes AI DLP features
Comtrue Technology will hold the 9th Dreams Come True Conference at 2 p.m. on Nov. 4 at POSCO Tower in Yeoksam, Seoul, to unveil new features in its Sherlock Holmes AI DLP. The company says the product uses AI to address limitations of existing endpoint, network and generative AI DLP, focusing on reducing false positives and misses. AI product verification certificate draws attention as Korea moves to lower entry barriers to public AI market
South Korea will introduce an AI product verification certificate scheme under the AI Basic Act, aimed at lowering barriers for AI firms entering the public market. The certificate is not a formal certification but an alternative way to prove technical requirements in procurement, a lawyer said. KOSA will accept and issue applications, while TTA will conduct technical reviews. Products with certificates will receive eased requirements, including waived delivery records and credit ratings, and bid evaluation advantages.

South Korea to solicit private cloud firms to secure and run GPUs for \'AI highway\'
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Wednesday it will solicit private cloud service providers to secure, build and operate advanced GPUs as part of an “AI highway” infrastructure push. The bid is open to operators able to provide and run cloud-based GPU services domestically until 3 p.m. on April 13. The government will assess performance targets, clustering plans, government resource share, and security and stability.
