Cardano to pursue two-stage Dijkstra upgrade through 2027 to boost throughput and speed finality
Cardano will pursue its Dijkstra network upgrade in two stages through 2027. The first phase focuses on expanding network throughput, while the second aims to shorten transaction finality times. The roadmap, disclosed via an Intersect document, targets code completion of Ouroboros Linear Leios in the fourth quarter of 2026 and introduction of Ouroboros Peras in the second quarter of 2027. A public testnet called Musashi Dojo is being used for validation.
