LG Uplus to develop AI token optimisation, quadrupling GPU efficiency
LG Uplus will develop token optimisation technology needed to operate AI services with AI model optimisation specialist OptAIi. The company said on Thursday it will jointly research technology that improves computing efficiency so more requests can be processed with the same resources. The partners said they improved response-generation computation to raise the amount of tokens processed on the same GPU by up to four times in a service environment.
