Circle CEO says USDC is 10-year infrastructure, raises questions over OUSD business model
Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire (제러미 알레어) stressed USDC’s network advantage as a new stablecoin, OUSD from Open Standarder, emerges. He said USDC’s decade-built integrated network, liquidity and regulatory infrastructure provide a structural edge over new stablecoins. Allaire described stablecoins as a platform business driven by network effects and ongoing investment. He also questioned OUSD’s model, citing concerns over free issuance and redemption and partner revenue sharing.
