Korea Fintech Industry Association steps up anti-hacking measures, checks suspicious IPs and exposed assets
The Korea Fintech Industry Association on Thursday held a meeting in Seoul to share recent cybersecurity incident cases in the financial sector and fintech firms’ response measures. The event focused on strengthening security beyond post-incident responses by identifying and blocking vulnerabilities in advance. Discussions included blocking suspicious IP addresses, reviewing past access logs, checking externally exposed IT assets and service vulnerabilities, and reinforcing access controls and abnormal access monitoring.
