Insung Digital teams up with Okta to step up push into AI identity security
Insung Digital said on Wednesday it is stepping up its push into the AI identity security market as Okta\'s official distributor in South Korea. The company took part in Okta\'s Partner Connect event and shared security strategies and technology directions for the era of AI agents with partner sales and technical staff. It also supported a domestic launching webinar for key customers covering Okta and Auth0 offerings for AI agents.

IBM CEO says firms rethink security spending in AI era; U.S. cybersecurity stocks jump
U.S.-listed cybersecurity stocks rose broadly after IBM CEO Arvind Krishna said companies are reassessing security budgets as AI spreads and cyberattack risks grow. He said customers are shifting IT spending toward AI infrastructure such as servers and memory while rapidly raising their guard against security threats. Okta, Netskope and CrowdStrike rose about 10 percent, with several others up 7 to 8 percent. Krishna also said uncertainty is delaying some large contracts.

M&A activity is picking up as the security industry reshapes around AI. Databricks is acquiring AI-based cyberattack detection startup Panther Labs, its third cybersecurity deal this year after Antimatter and SiftD. Identity security firm SailPoint Technologies is buying AI agent security startup Entro Security. Big cloud providers are also moving faster on security, with AWS launching an AI platform and Google Cloud supporting local data residency in its Seoul region.
