Anthropic releases Sonnet 4.6, doubles context window size
Anthropic has launched Sonnet 4.6, a new AI model that strengthens coding and context comprehension, TechCrunch reported. The update follows the company’s four-month model improvement cycle and will be the default model for free and pro users. Sonnet 4.6 expands the context window to 1 million tokens, double the prior model, enabling single-request processing of large codebases, long contracts and multiple research papers.
