Bitcoin halving countdown starts with fewer than 100,000 blocks remaining
The number of blocks remaining until Bitcoin\'s next halving has fallen below 100,000, according to OKLink data and a Binance post. The next halving is estimated for April 12, 2028. Circulating supply stands at 20.05 million BTC, or 95.47 percent of the 21 million cap, leaving 950,000 BTC to be issued over about 100 years. Bitcoin has fallen since the April 2024 halving and remains influenced by institutional flows and macro indicators.
