MSIT awards ICT internship achievements to boost youth employment links
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT on Aug. 27 visited an outstanding company in its ICT credit-linked project internship programme and held an awards ceremony at Seoul\'s COEX. The programme supports undergraduates taking internships at domestic and overseas AI and IT firms and receiving academic credit. A total of 3,053 people participated through last year. Graduates\' average employment rate in 2022-2025 was 89.3 percent.

Nota steps up rollout of intelligent transport network in key UAE cities
Nota said on Thursday it signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi\'s transport authority to jointly develop an on-device AI-based real-time incident management system and cooperative intelligent transport systems (C-ITS). The company said the pact follows successful verification of its ITS technology in Abu Dhabi last year and was influenced by discussions on adopting ITS solutions across Abu Dhabi. Nota previously signed a commercialisation contract with Dubai\'s Roads and Transport Authority.
