Nietzschian Debugger asks questions instead of giving answers on fixing bugs
A new AI debugging tool called the Nietzschian Debugger has been released on GitHub, designed to strengthen developers’ ability to solve problems on their own. Rather than providing a direct fix, it asks a series of questions to guide users to identify the root cause of errors. The tool reflects concerns that relying on AI-generated code can weaken understanding. It uses Anthropic’s Claude by default and also supports other and local models in the latest version.
