Netflix continues $2.5 billion investment project, to release 24 titles this year
Netflix, marking 10 years of service in South Korea, said it will maintain its K-content investment stance while expanding its focus to discovering new creators and supporting production infrastructure. At a Seoul event on Jan. 21, Kang Dong-han said Netflix will continue the $2.5 billion Korean content investment announced in 2023, with more projects produced with the funds set to be released from this year. Netflix plans to release 24 Korean originals this year.
