Bitmine buys 53,501 more ether, holds 4.9% of circulating supply
Bitmine bought an additional 53,501 ether last week, taking its stake to 4.9% of circulating supply. The purchase lifted its total holdings to more than 5.9 million ether, valued at about $14.8 billion using an Aug. 31 ether price of $2,511. DropsTab data put its unrealised loss on ether holdings at about $5.1 billion. BMNR shares rose 1.3% intraday on Aug. 31 to $24.09.

NYSE-listed closed-end C1 fund made Ripple Labs its biggest holding in the second quarter of 2026. Ripple Labs accounted for 17.5% of net assets, ahead of Kraken parent Payward at 16.9%. The fund’s per-share net asset value was $6.49, and a partial buyback by Ripple Labs influenced allocation. Institutions also reported Ripple share holdings and rising allocations to XRP-linked products, including ETF positions and other funding routes tied to the Ripple ecosystem.

KRX to pitch South Korea\'s capital market in New York, cooperate with NYSE on trading hours and T+1
Korea Exchange Chairman Eunbo Jeong (정은보) will travel to New York to market South Korea\'s capital markets to global institutional investors. KRX will hold a global roadshow in New York on Sept. 3 for asset managers, hedge funds and other institutions. It plans to explain capital-market system improvements and steps to boost foreign investor access. KRX will also sign an MOU with the New York Stock Exchange on market operations and infrastructure cooperation, including longer trading hours and T+1 settlement.
