South Korea\'s industry ministry to finalise third materials, parts and equipment specialised zone in June
South Korea has begun procedures to select a third specialised zone for materials, parts and equipment. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy held a briefing in Cheongju on Jan. 13 attended by about 200 people from local governments, anchor firms and research institutes. The government will open applications in March and confirm the final site around June through a competitiveness committee. A preliminary review system will be introduced for the first time.
