KT becomes first Korean telecom to join NATO defence communications standardisation
KT said on Sunday it will take part in the ninth meeting of NATO\'s Next-Generation Communication and Services Panel (NWCSP) project as a 5G and 6G standards committee member, becoming the first South Korean telecom operator to do so. The meeting, hosted by the defence ministry and TTA, will be held in Seoul from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2. Participants will discuss applying 5G and 6G to defence and developing next-generation standards.
