Large-scale phishing attack targeting Apple device users posing as major exchanges spotted
More than 1,500 phishing websites targeting iPhone and iPad users’ cryptocurrency have been discovered, with some attacks able to steal device information just by visiting a malicious page. Japan’s CoinPost reported that security firm SlowMist identified over 1,500 phishing sites linked to the DarkSword iPhone hacking tool. The sites impersonated crypto exchanges, online shops, wallets and games. Apple has fixed the vulnerabilities up to iOS 26.3, and expanded iOS 18.7.7 support for older devices.
