KT holds first K-New Deal Academy AX competition

KT held the first AI transformation (AX) competition for the inaugural class of its KT K-New Deal Academy from Sept. 1 to 2 at the KT Pangyo building and other training sites nationwide. About 120 trainees took part. It was the first of two competitions in the programme. Participants planned and produced generative AI outputs combining KT’s business with AX technology. KT said it will award trainees for outstanding results and support linking projects to job-search portfolios.

Woowahan Cheongnyeondeul launches second rider safety committee

Woowahan Cheongnyeondeul, which handles logistics for Baedal Minjok, said on Monday it has launched the second term of its Rider Safety Management Committee. The governance group, formed in February last year, reviews rider safety policies and operating programmes and proposes improvements. The company said the committee has identified additional hazards through risk assessments and supported free health checkups for cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases.

Cafe24 signs deal with Korea Vocational Training School to train AI talent

Cafe24 said it signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Korea Vocational Training School on Aug. 20 to foster AI-ready practical talent. Under the deal, the two sides will integrate Cafe24\'s AI infrastructure into training programmes, including its AI Space and an LLM Router-based practice environment. They will run project-based courses using Cafe24 AI agents, jointly develop curricula and content, and provide accounts, guides, lectures and mentoring. They also plan startup and employment linkage programmes.
