NH NongHyup Bank signs contract to handle overseas remittances for military pensions
NH NongHyup Bank said on Tuesday it signed an outsourcing agreement with the Armed Forces Financial Management Agency for overseas remittance services for military pensions at its headquarters in central Seoul. Under the agreement, the bank will provide overseas remittance services to ensure stable pension payments to military pension recipients living abroad. It plans to strengthen military-related financial services following its selection as the dedicated bank for the service.

Sh Suhyup Bank launches Sh Golden Day Pension Account
Sh Suhyup Bank said on Jan. 27 it will launch the Sh Golden Day Pension Account for pension recipients in an ageing society. Although it is a demand deposit account, it offers up to 3.2 percent annual interest on daily ending balances up to 2 million won if requirements are met. Preferential-rate conditions include public pension deposits, benefits for fisheries customers and a special bonus rate for new customers. The bank also offers fee waivers, exchange-rate benefits and a cashback event.

KB Kookmin Bank launches golden box prize draw event for four public pensions
KB Kookmin Bank is holding a promotional event for customers who receive one of four public pensions into a KB Kookmin Bank deposit and withdrawal account. Eligible pensions are the National Pension, Government Employees Pension, Private School Teachers Pension and Military Pension. Customers are automatically entered upon first receipt during the event period, and receive additional draw entries for each consecutive month.
