Indiana governor signs bill allowing crypto investment in retirement plans
Indiana has passed legislation allowing investments in cryptocurrencies through retirement plans and savings accounts, Cointelegraph reported on March 4. Governor Mike Braun (마이크 브라운) signed House Bill 1042, which requires state public retirement and savings accounts to offer at least one crypto investment option by July 2027. The law also bars public agencies, except financial institutions, from adopting rules that ban crypto payments, self-custody or mining.
