BitGo cuts 15 percent of workforce to focus on AI and stablecoins
BitGo is cutting about 15 percent of its workforce as it reshapes its business capabilities around trading, stablecoins and artificial intelligence. Co-founder and CEO Mike Belshe (마이크 벨시) said the decision was difficult, citing major changes in the crypto ecosystem and how financial services are built. BitGo did not disclose the number affected. It had 603 full-time employees as of Dec. 31, 2025, implying about 90 jobs. Belshe said no further cuts are planned.
