Leaders\' early action can prevent employee burnout; stress not a personal responsibility
Workplace stress in technology organisations should not be left solely to individuals’ coping skills, and leaders and organisations should manage it early, an article said. It warned that accumulating workloads, unclear roles and frequent priority changes can lead beyond weaker performance to burnout and staff departures. It also stressed understanding different problem-solving styles, building a culture of trust, adjusting workload expectations through daily conversations, and ensuring autonomy and time to recover.
