Broadcast media and telecom review body nears normalisation while commission still adrift
South Korea\'s Broadcast Media and Telecommunications Review Committee is closer to resuming operations than the Broadcast Media and Telecommunications Commission. A lawmaker said the president appointed five committee members on Friday, bringing the total appointed to eight, with one ruling party nominee still pending. The nine-member body can deliberate and decide if at least four members attend. The commission, launched in October, has yet to complete its membership after four months.
