Solus Advanced Materials wins European patent lawsuit against SK Nexilis
Solus Advanced Materials won a European battery foil patent infringement lawsuit against SK Nexilis, it said on Oct. 26. Solus said the Mannheim local division of the Unified Patent Court dismissed SK Nexilis\' claim and ordered it to pay 1.1 million euros in legal costs. The dispute centered on how to measure the surface roughness indicator Rpc. The court rejected SK Nexilis\' conversion method and found no infringement.
