Five ways to make workdays feel better
Going to work every day is not always enjoyable, even though people spend much of their time there. On Jan. 13, online media outlet Gigazine cited Ioannis Krachioitis, who teaches organisational psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University, outlining five ways to lift one’s own mood and that of colleagues. He said adequate support helps satisfy key psychological needs. The suggestions emphasise mutual help, recognising small wins, granting autonomy, offering a brief word at day’s end and monitoring balance.
