Sensor Tower says steady updates, events drive mobile games market recovery
Sensor Tower released a report on Jan. 28 analysing key factors behind the mobile games market recovery. It estimated global mobile game revenue at $82 billion in 2025 and said in-app purchases have re-entered a recovery phase after a post-pandemic adjustment. Annual downloads are stabilising above 50 billion. Publishers are focusing on extending game lifecycles through LiveOps, while revenue gains are concentrated in a few genres and top titles, especially strategy games.
