Two-seat electric scooter with solar charging goes on sale in U.S., adds up to 30 km a day
A two-seat electric scooter that can boost its driving range using solar power has gone on sale in the United States. San Francisco R&D company Otherlab has started selling and delivering its Lightfoot scooter, which has solar panels on both sides with a combined 240-watt output. The company says it can add about 5 to 6 km of range per hour in good sunlight. The scooter is capped at 20 mph and offers up to 60 km per charge.
