Ethereum Foundation silence fuels community discontent over ideology, competition

Harvard sells all ethereum holdings after one quarter, exits ether ETF
Harvard Management Company sold all of Harvard University\'s ethereum exposure in the first quarter, unloading about $87 million of BlackRock\'s iShares Ethereum Trust, filings showed. It trimmed bitcoin exposure by selling about 2.3 million shares of spot bitcoin ETFs but kept more than 3 million shares of BlackRock\'s iShares Bitcoin Trust worth about $117 million. The move comes as ether has fallen more than 50 percent from its August 2025 peak near $5,000.

Anthropic\'s Claude helps user recover 5 bitcoin from 11-year locked wallet
A user on X who goes by cprkrn said they recovered 5 bitcoin from a wallet that had been locked for more than 11 years after uploading old files from a college-era computer to Anthropic\'s AI model Claude. They said Claude identified an encrypted wallet file and helped guide decryption using the open-source tool btcrecover. The post drew rapid market and industry reactions. The recovered bitcoin are worth about $400,000 at current prices.
