Microchip expands 10BASE-T1S line to simplify vehicle and industrial edge wiring
Microchip Technology on Tuesday launched the 10BASE-T1S transceivers LAN8679 and LAN8680 and the integrated endpoint family LAN8660X/1X/2X. The company said the products are designed for zonal architectures in vehicles and meet AEC-Q100 and ISO 26262 requirements. Microchip said the lineup supports efforts to simplify structure, reduce wiring complexity and integrate edge nodes in automotive, industrial and robotics systems shifting to Ethernet-based networks.
