Kraken Institutional partners with Bitwise for first crypto yield strategy
Kraken Institutional has partnered with Bitwise Asset Management to launch its first managed investment strategy, The Block reported on Feb. 5 local time. The Bitwise Custom Yield Strategy targets institutional investors, with Bitwise overseeing portfolio management and Kraken providing custody, execution and risk management. Kraken plans to offer multiple managed crypto strategies on a single platform. A Kraken spokesperson said the strategy generates income through Bitcoin covered call options.
