Korea Grand Festival with 40,000 firms opens Oct. 29, Korea Post joins
South Korea\'s government will hold the second Korea Grand Festival from Oct. 29 to Nov. 15, integrating discount events previously run by individual ministries. About 40,000 companies will participate. Korea Post will join with a postal shopping special sale, expanded discount items and coupons for local specialties, along with themed promotions. Private retailers will also offer discounts. The government will raise local gift certificate discount rates and expand benefits for digital vouchers.
