MSIT holds hearing to expand mandatory information security disclosure
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT held a public hearing on Feb. 6 on revising the enforcement decree of the Information Security Industry Act to expand mandatory information security disclosure. The ministry said it aims to collect opinions from stakeholders and the public and build social consensus. The revision would remove the 300 billion won sales threshold and extend disclosure obligations to all firms listed on the KOSPI and KOSDAQ markets.
