Palo Alto Networks buys file security startup Koi
Palo Alto Networks has acquired Koi Security, a startup specialising in enterprise file security, for $400 million, SiliconANGLE reported on Feb. 17 local time. Koi offers a platform that blocks risky file downloads and verifies AI training datasets. It can delay open-source code updates and monitor downloaded files for threats, allowing administrators to delete, isolate or roll back files. Palo Alto Networks plans to integrate Koi into Cortex XDR and Prisma AIRS.
