Lemmo unveils Lemmo 3 cargo e-bike with semi-solid-state battery, 180 km range
German e-bike maker Lemmo unveiled the Lemmo 3, a new cargo electric bicycle using a semi-solid-state battery. The 960Wh battery offers up to 180 km on a single charge, and Lemmo said it cuts size and weight by 20 percent while extending lifespan by 30 percent versus liquid-electrolyte lithium-ion batteries. The removable battery can power appliances via an optional V2L inverter. The bike supports various racks, regional motor specs and connected features.

Spiny 2 clip-on kit turns a bicycle into a 750W e-bike in 3 seconds
Spiny EV Solutions SL has unveiled the second-generation Spiny 2, a clip-on electric assist kit that can be attached to or removed from a bicycle in about 3 seconds after initial mounting. The 2.2 kg unit uses a friction drive roller that powers the rear tyre and avoids swapping wheels or drivetrains. Output and assisted top speed vary by market, with up to 750W and 32 kph in the United States. Spiny says range can reach 90 km under ideal test conditions.

Minimal smartwatch \'Jaye Band\' filters only key alerts, targeting smartphone addiction
Jaye Band, a minimalist wearable that filters smartphone notifications to show only selected alerts, has launched a Kickstarter funding drive. The developers describe it as a tiny smartwatch aimed at reducing smartphone addiction and notification fatigue. The device has a small black-and-white OLED display and omits health and activity tracking features. The Kickstarter goal was $5,000, while funding has reached $35,749. Early-backer pricing is $129, rising to $249 after launch, with delivery slated for December 2026.
