AI agent crypto payments move into real ecosystem in past year, report says

AI agent cryptocurrency payments totaling $73 million over the past year show the sector has moved beyond a concept stage into a functioning ecosystem, an analysis said. Crypto investment firm Keyrock said AI agents settled the amount across 176 million transactions from May 2025 to April 2026. It said stablecoins became the base settlement layer, while more than 104,000 agents were listed in directories and registries. Concentration in Circle’s USDC was cited as a risk.

Bitcoin price now makes no sense, will be completely different in 2027-2028

An analysis says bitcoin should be trading at a higher value than it is now because markets are not properly reflecting the macroeconomic environment and structural changes in digital assets. Keyrock CEO and co-founder Kevin de Patoul said bitcoin failed to rise as much as expected despite regulatory progress and growing institutional investment. He said institutions often sell first in periods of stress, limiting gains. He expects on-chain transition in traditional capital markets to accelerate in 2027-2028.
