Pacific Fusion achieves 440 gigawatts in 80 nanoseconds, prepares to break ground on fusion demonstration facility
Pacific Fusion unveiled the latest prototype of its pulser module, a key device for a fusion demonstration power plant. The prototype recorded peak output of 440 gigawatts for 80 nanoseconds, and the company is preparing to break ground this summer while deploying additional Series A funds totaling more than $1 billion. The container-sized unit represents about one-third of a full module. The company aims to generate more electricity than the facility consumes.
