Kakao seeks AI talent at four science and technology institutes
Kakao Group on Jan. 26 released the first results of an industry-academia collaboration project aimed at identifying talent to lead the future AI industry. Kakao held a final round and awards ceremony on Jan. 22 at its AI Campus in Yongin. A total of 66 teams from KAIST, GIST, DGIST and UNIST took part. Five teams will share 39 million won in prize money and receive cloud credits, mentoring and possible follow-on investment consideration of up to 1 billion won per team.
