KOCCA empirically analyzes K-content economic impact, cites strong ripple effects in processed foods and dining out
The Korea Creative Content Agency said it published a report empirically analyzing the economic impact of the content industry on South Korea\'s agri-food sector. Using a special classification system, it restructured input-output tables and assessed spillover effects. The report put the content industry\'s average production-inducement coefficient at 1.757, with 0.080 attributed to the agri-food industry. It estimated a 10 percent rise in content exports would raise agri-food output by about 166.0 billion won and total industrial output by about 3.8 trillion won.
