Fed chair \'no inflation easing\' comment rattles markets; bitcoin slips below $64,000

Bitcoin rose above $64,400 right after the U.S. Federal Reserve kept its policy rate unchanged, but slid back below $64,000 after Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s hawkish remarks. Over 24 hours, it was up just 0.13%. The Fed held rates at 3.50 to 3.75%, with three FOMC members dissenting for a 25-basis-point hike. Other major crypto prices were mostly rangebound, while risk assets faced pressure from higher oil prices and rising U.S. Treasury yields.

Suho.io to work with Kite on expanding AI agent payment infrastructure

Digital asset infrastructure company Suho.io said on Tuesday it will cooperate with Kite.ai to jointly build AI agent payment infrastructure and speed up Kite AI’s push into the South Korean market. Kite launched its agent payment infrastructure, Kite Agent Passport, and its mainnet on April 30. The companies plan technical integration with Suho.io’s Ezys layer, develop use cases in Korea and pursue joint business development with global merchants and payment service providers.

AI chip war enters new phase as Nvidia challengers step up offensive

Big cloud companies are stepping up attacks on the AI chip market dominated by Nvidia, extending efforts from inference into model training. Meta signs a multiyear deal to rent Google’s TPU and discusses bringing TPU into its data centres from next year. Amazon strengthens cooperation with OpenAI around AWS and its Trainium chip. Nvidia plans to unveil a new inference-focused chip in March and outlined an AI-native 6G vision using AI-RAN.
