Yeogi Eottae Company expands globally with acquisition of Japan travel platform
Yeogi Eottae Company has acquired Japan travel booking platform Relux. The company said on May 18 it signed a contract to buy all shares of Loco-Partners, a KDDI unit that operates Relux. Relux focuses on premium hotels, resorts and ryokan and has about 3.8 million members. Yeogi Eottae will run three platforms, link products across them and target inbound travel to Korea and demand for Japan travel, including third-country visitors to East Asia.

Japan\'s KDDI to take 14.9% stake in Coincheck Group for $65 million
Japan\'s telecommunications company KDDI will invest $65 million to acquire a 14.9% stake in Coincheck Group. CoinDesk reported that KDDI agreed to buy 28.5 million newly issued shares at $2.28 each, with the deal expected to close in June. The companies also signed a business partnership involving customer referrals, revenue sharing and referral fees, aiming to broaden crypto access in Japan by combining KDDI channels with Coincheck services.

RLWRLD unveils \'RLDX-1\' robotics foundation model
Physical AI company RLWRLD said on Wednesday it unveiled its in-house robotics foundation model, RLDX-1. The company released three 8.1B-parameter variants, including a pre-training checkpoint and two platform-specific mid-training checkpoints, and made model weights, training code and technical documents available to external researchers via GitHub and Hugging Face. RLWRLD said the model processes vision, language, torque, touch and task memory, and highlighted its Multi-Stream Action Transformer architecture.
