KB Financial to build AI finance infrastructure with Rebellions
KB Financial Group is partnering with South Korean AI chip company Rebellions to build next-generation AI financial infrastructure. The companies signed a strategic cooperation agreement on May 27 in Seoul, KB Financial said. Rebellions will provide technology and products needed for AI semiconductor inference infrastructure, and the two will jointly identify and apply AI use cases optimized for financial services. KB Financial will provide financial services and business support to Rebellions.

KB Financial launches startup incubation program to strengthen productive finance role
KB Financial Group is starting up its KB Starters program to foster startups in future industries. The group held the 2026 KB Starters Welcome Day on May 8 at its KB Innovation Hub Center in Seoul with 50 innovative startups and officials from major affiliates. KB Financial is strengthening support linked to collaboration, investment and global expansion. It also selected 12 youth-led firms through campus briefings and will provide tailored assistance including consulting and workspace.

KB Financial Group partners with Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation to support startup ecosystem
KB Financial Group said on Thursday it signed an agreement with the Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation to strengthen a public-private startup support system based on the two organisations’ startup development capabilities and networks. The two sides plan cooperation including discovering promising companies in AI, ESG and fintech, linking them to government support programmes, providing mentoring and consulting, and operating joint incubation spaces.
