Autonomous A2Z completes pre-IPO; total funding reaches 122.5 billion won
Autonomous A2Z completed a 40.5 billion won pre-IPO round and set a domestic record for cumulative funding in South Korea\'s autonomous driving sector, it said on Wednesday. Total funding reached 122.5 billion won. Existing investors included DS Investment Partners, Envestor, KB Investment, KB Securities and Hana Securities. Daesung Venture Capital, Suin Investment Capital and E&Venture Partners joined as new investors.

KB Financial forms 160 billion won venture capital fund to nurture \'K-Nvidia\'
KB Financial Group said on Saturday it had formed a 160 billion won \"KB Deeptech Scale-up Fund\" to invest in deep tech companies in areas such as AI and robotics seeking to challenge as a \"K-Nvidia\". The fund was built with 75 billion won from the Korea Fund of Funds and 85 billion won from KB affiliates. KB Investment will manage it and plans to attract additional limited partners to expand the fund to about 200 billion won.

Cockswave raises 7 billion won in Pre-Series A funding for AI product analytics platform
Cockswave, the operator of the AI product analytics platform Align, said on Tuesday it raised 7 billion won in Pre-Series A funding. The company’s cumulative investment rose to 12.5 billion won. L&S Venture Capital led the round, with participation from existing investor KB Investment and new investors including Hyundai Technology Investment, Hyundai Motor Zero1 Ventures and KDB Capital. Cockswave plans to expand AX projects and strengthen AI reliability and governance capabilities.
