Nokia CEO says data centres could be built twice as fast without supply constraints

Nokia CEO Justin Hotard said it is hard to call the current AI data centre buildout overbuilding and that construction could be twice as fast without supply constraints. He pointed to shortages of key memory chips and power limits as major bottlenecks. The comments come amid debate over whether investment in data centres, semiconductors and power infrastructure is moving too quickly. Nokia has been shifting toward AI infrastructure supply.
