Naver Webtoon appoints Kim Yong-su and Kim Gyu-nam as co-CEOs
Naver Webtoon is shifting to a co-CEO leadership structure, appointing Kim Yong-su and Kim Gyu-nam as co-chief executives, it said on Wednesday. Junkoo Kim will step down as head of the South Korean entity and focus on global management and long-term growth strategy as Webtoon Entertainment CEO and board chair. The company said the move extends a leadership reshuffle carried out in March and aims to expand headquarters governance to the Korean unit and strengthen professional management tailored to local markets.
