Top-spec 16-inch MacBook Pro tops $10,000 as memory prices rise up to 100 percent
Apple’s top-spec 16-inch MacBook Pro price has exceeded $10,000 for the first time, as higher-end memory and storage options saw much bigger increases than the base model. After the latest adjustment, the top configuration sells for $10,149. Apple blogger John Gruber said the base model rose about 13 to 15 percent, while memory upgrade costs rose much more, reaching up to 100 percent in some tiers.
