Microsoft Azure cloud up 43 percent, annual revenue tops $100 billion

Microsoft posted fiscal fourth-quarter results that beat market expectations, sending its shares up about 3 percent in after-hours trading. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose to $90.01 billion, while adjusted EPS came in at $4.74. Net income increased to $35.77 billion. Intelligent Cloud revenue climbed 31.6 percent and Azure growth accelerated to 43 percent, with annual Azure revenue topping $100 billion for the first time.
